The Box Puppy | 11oz and 15 oz | Coffee Mug & Tea Cup

For Everyone Who Has Ever Rooted for the Underdog — or the Under Puppy! 🐾☕💛

Some stories get inside your heart and just live there. They do not knock first or ask permission. They simply arrive — quiet and warm and completely true — and before you know it they have made themselves completely at home in the softest corner of your chest and you would not dream of asking them to leave.

The Box Puppy is exactly that kind of story.

The Box Puppy is the story of a poor little puppy who finally finds a home and in those few simple words lives one of the most universally tender feelings a human heart can hold. The hope of belonging. The joy of being chosen. The quiet miracle of finding exactly the place where you are wanted and loved and completely safe. It is a story for children that adults feel just as deeply. It is a story that makes young readers hug their own pets a little tighter. It is a story that reminds everyone, no matter their age, that home is the most precious thing in the whole wide world.

Small Fry Tales offers valuable life lessons through relatable characters and colorful illustrations and The Tracycaroltaylor Box Puppy is perhaps the most heartwarming story in the entire collection. Now that beloved little puppy lives on the side of your morning mug — ready to greet you every single day with a wagging tail and a reminder that good things really do happen to those who wait and hope and keep their hearts open.

🐾 A Little Love Letter to The Box Puppy

There is a reason The Box Puppy was chosen as the heart of this mug. Of all the wonderful stories in Small Fry Tales this one touches something universal and deep and completely timeless. Because who among us has not wanted to be chosen? Who has not hoped for belonging? Who has not felt the indescribable joy of finally arriving in a place where you are completely and wholly wanted?

The Box Puppy carries all of that in a story small enough for a child to hold and big enough for a whole heart to live inside. It is a story about hope. It is a story about home. It is a story about the kind of love that changes everything for the better the moment it arrives.

And now every morning when you wrap your hands around this mug and feel the warmth of your coffee or tea seeping into your palms — that little puppy is right there with you. Safe. Home. Loved. Just like they always deserved to be. 🐾💛☕

🌟 A Note from Tracy

The Box Puppy came from a place of genuine tenderness in my heart for every animal that has ever needed a home and every person who has ever opened their door and their heart to give one. I wrote this story hoping it would teach young readers about compassion and hope and the joy of belonging. The fact that it now lives on a mug that people can hold in their hands every morning — that fills me with a kind of happiness I truly cannot put into words. I hope every sip feels like a warm hug. From me and from that little puppy. ♥
